Things to understand first
General points only. Read the offer documents for the specific product before you invest.
- Insurance is a subject matter of solicitation. Read the policy wording, including benefits, exclusions and conditions, before you buy.
- Premiums, the terms of cover and decisions on claims are made by the insurer.
- Complete and accurate information in your proposal form matters when you make a claim.
- Some plans combine insurance with investment. These have different costs, lock-in periods and risks from pure protection plans.
Common questions
Who decides a claim?
The insurer decides claims under the policy terms. We help you prepare documents and follow up.
Why does disclosure matter so much?
If health or other material facts are not disclosed in the proposal, the insurer may reject a later claim.
Can I return a policy after buying it?
Most policies have a free-look period during which you can return them. The length is stated in your policy document.
